Detox Corn On The Cob

Total Time: 38 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 corn on the cob
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place cobs into a pan of simmering water (do not add salt).
  • 2 bring to the boil over a high heat and then reduce to a simmer for about 20-30 minutes or until the corn is a bright yellow and tender.
  • 3 drain and dab excess water with kitchen towel.
  • 4 drizzle the oil over the corn cobs and then gently rub all over.
  • 5 sprinkle pepper over cobs and serve as an accompaniment.
