Ingredients

  • 2 oranges, sliced into rounds
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins Ready Time: 55 mins

  • preheat the oven to 400 degrees f (200 degrees c).
  • in a small bowl or cup, stir together the lemon pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley. place the slices from one of the oranges in a single layer in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. place a layer of onion slices over the orange. drizzle with a little bit of olive oil, and sprinkle with half of the herb mixture.

unbelievable chicken

  • 3 tablespoons prepared coarse-ground mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

avocado and tuna tapas

  • 8 ounces raspberries
  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
  • 10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
  • butter flavored cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

  • in a large bowl, thoroughly mix kiwis, apples, raspberries, strawberries, sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves. cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes.

  • coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray. cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet. sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar. spray again with cooking spray.
  • bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes. repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges. allow to cool approximately 15 minutes. serve with chilled fruit mixture.

easy garlic ginger chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 3 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 limes, juiced

Recipe

  • pound the chicken to 1/2 inch thickness. in a large resealable plastic bag combine the garlic, ginger, oil and lime juice. seal bag and shake until blended. open bag and add chicken. seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for no more than 20 minutes.
  • remove chicken from bag and grill or broil, basting with marinade, until cooked through and juices run clear. dispose of any remaining marinade.

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees f/45 degrees c)
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • in a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. sprinkle yeast over the top, and let stand for about 10 minutes, until foamy.
  • stir the olive oil and salt into the yeast mixture, then mix in the whole wheat flour and 1 cup of the all-purpose flour until dough starts to come together. tip dough out a surface floured with the remaining all-purpose flour, and knead until all of the flour has been absorbed, and the ball of dough becomes smooth, about 10 minutes. place dough in an oiled bowl, and turn to coat the surface. cover loosely with a towel, and let stand in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • when the dough is doubled, tip the dough out a lightly floured surface, and divide into 2 pieces for 2 thin crust, or leave whole to make one thick crust. form into a tight ball. let rise for about 45 minutes, until doubled.
  • preheat the oven to 425 degrees f (220 degrees c). roll a ball of dough with a rolling pin until it will not stretch any further. then, drape it over both of your fists, and gently pull the edges outward, while rotating the crust. when the circle has reached the desired size, place on a well oiled pizza pan. top pizza with your favorite toppings, such as sauce, cheese, meats, or vegetables.
  • bake for 16 to 20 minutes (depending on thickness) in the preheated oven, until the crust is crisp and golden at the edges, and cheese is melted on the top.
