healthier no bake oatmeal cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 40
  • 1 2/3 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 5 tablespoons applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups rolled oats

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins Ready Time: 35 mins

  • mix sugar, milk, and cocoa powder together in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook at a boil for 1 minute. remove saucepan from heat and stir peanut butter, applesauce, and vanilla extract into the hot mixture until smooth. add oats and stir until evenly mixed.
  • drop oats mixture by spoonful waxed paper. cool completely before removing from paper, at least 20 minutes.
