Cinnamon Rum Syrup

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar, water and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil over high heat and boil until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 remove from heat; stir in rum and lemon.
  • 4 pour syrup into a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator.
