Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon dark rum
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 combine sugar, water and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
- 2 bring to a boil over high heat and boil until sugar is dissolved.
- 3 remove from heat; stir in rum and lemon.
- 4 pour syrup into a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator.
