Char Siu Lamb

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb butt, cut in thick strips
  • 1/2 cup red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 cups honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 pour food coloring over lamb strips, one by one, rubbing color into lamb.
  • 2 mix other ingredients and marinade lamb in it for 1-2 days.
  • 3 broil for 1 1/2 hours on lower rack.
