Cherry Yogurt Muffins

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- cherry pie filling
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 in large bowl beat margarine until creamy.
- 3 beat in sugar.
- 4 when pale and fluffy, add eggs.
- 5 mix in baking powder,baking sada and almond extract.
- 6 fold in 1 c flour.
- 7 mix well by hand.
- 8 stir in yogurt and 1c floru.
- 9 in greased muffin tin spoon heaping tbl batter.
- 10 to each muffin add 1tsp pie filling.
- 11 cover with another heaping tbl batter.
- 12 bake @ 350 degrees 25 minutes.
