Cranberry Fudge

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped cranberries, drained well

Recipe

  • 1 butter sides of heavy saucepan.
  • 2 combine sugar, milk,cream, syrup and salt.
  • 3 stir over medium heat until boiling.
  • 4 cook to soft ball stage.
  • 5 remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
  • 6 add butter and vanilla.
  • 7 beat until mixture is stiff, about 5 minutes.
  • 8 quickly stir in the cranberries.
  • 9 spread into a buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
  • 10 cut into pieces when cool.
