Cranberry Fudge

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup chopped cranberries, drained well
Recipe
- 1 butter sides of heavy saucepan.
- 2 combine sugar, milk,cream, syrup and salt.
- 3 stir over medium heat until boiling.
- 4 cook to soft ball stage.
- 5 remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
- 6 add butter and vanilla.
- 7 beat until mixture is stiff, about 5 minutes.
- 8 quickly stir in the cranberries.
- 9 spread into a buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
- 10 cut into pieces when cool.
