Bourbon Peach Barbecue Sauce (and Its Uses!)

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 (2 lb) lamb tenderloin or 2 (2 lb) other meat or 2 (2 lb) seafood, of your choice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon old bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
- 1 cup peach preserves
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
Recipe
- 1 rub lamb or other meat with vegetable oil, then season with 1 tablespoon old bay and garlic. a milder meat, such as chicken, may need less seasoning, so i would recommend using your discretion.
- 2 heat grill to medium.
- 3 combine preserves, bourbon, ketchup and 1 1/2 teaspoons old bay in a small bowl.
- 4 grill meat over medium heat until done. for the lamb this would be about 25-30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°f.
- 5 brush with sauce during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- 6 serve with remaining sauce.
