Corny Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 6 cups fat free chicken broth 
- 1/4 lb turkey ham, diced 
- 1 (5 ounce) can water chestnuts, chopped (8 ounce can drained wt) 
- 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can cream-style corn 
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch 
- 1/3 cup cold water 
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten 
- 1 green onion 
Recipe
- 1 bring broth to a boil in 3 qt saucepan. 
- 2 add ham, water chestnuts, corn and pepper. return to boil. 
- 3 meanwhile combine cornstarch with cold water. 
- 4 add cornstarch mixture to soup and cook, stirring until soup boils and thickens. 
- 5 remove from heat and slowly add egg whites while stirring.
