Dad's Tex-mex Chili

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups onions (finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar (packed)
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
- 2 cups frozen corn
Recipe
- 1 fry onion, garlic and ground beef until onions are tender and beef is browned.
- 2 drain off fat.
- 3 put ground beef mixture into large pot, with the rest of the ingredients.
- 4 simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
- 5 sometimes i even put it in the slow-cooker for 7 to 8 hour but then i leave out beans and corn until just before serving.
