Banana-bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup wheat bran
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 -4 very ripe bananas
- milk
- 1 egg (i used 2 1/2 egg whites)
- blueberries (can be added-in as well, possibly a few tbsp sugar or honey if bananas are not sweet enough-the ripe) or raisins (can be added-in as well, possibly a few tbsp sugar or honey if bananas are not sweet enough-the ripe) or chopped pineapple (can be added-in as well, possibly a few tbsp sugar or honey if bananas are not sweet enough-the ripe)
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients.
- 2 mash bananas and add enough milk to make 1.5 cups total.
- 3 add egg to bananas.
- 4 pour wet over dry ingredients and stir just until mixed.
- 5 spoon into 12 lightly greased/pammed muffin cups.
- 6 bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes. remove from cups while still hot.
- 7 makes 12 small or 6 jumbo muffins.
