Cabbage With Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups brown rice, cooked (cooked measurement)
  • 4 tablespoons soft margarine
  • 1 cup low-fat cheese, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 in large covered saucepan in as little water as possible, cook shredded cabbage over medium heat until crisp-tender.
  • 2 lower the heat and stir in the rice, margarine, cheese, and nutmeg. add salt to taste.
