Cheddar-scallion Beer Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups self rising flour
  • 12 ounces freshly opened chilled beer
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced scallion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 375.
  • 2 lightly grease 9 by 5 by3 inch.
  • 3 loaf pan.
  • 4 put flour in a med.
  • 5 bowl.
  • 6 mix flour with cheddar cheese,scallions and poultry seasoning.
  • 7 add beer and stir until just mixed.
  • 8 scrape into pan.
  • 9 bake 50-55 minutes.
  • 10 cool on wire rack 5 minutes.
