Cranberry Sauce Ii

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar (may replace with an equal amount of splenda)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 navel orange
  • orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon pure orange extract (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 add water and sugar together; bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
  • 2 add cranberries and stir as the start to pop.
  • 3 once they have all popped, reduce flame to low and add juice from one navel orange, zest from one navel orange and the orange extract(optional).
  • 4 stir ingredients through for a minute.
  • 5 move cranberry sauce to a container and store in fridge til needed. i recommend this is made at least two days prior to serving.
