Cranberry-whipped Cream Salad

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3 ounce) package raspberry jell-o gelatin
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange sections, drained
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • grapes
  • egg
  • sugar

Recipe

  • 1 drain pineapples; reserve syrup. add boiling water to reserved syrup to make 1 cup. dissolve gelatin in hot liquid. stir in cranberry sauce and orange peel; chill until partially set (consistency of unbeaten egg ). fold in orange sections, pineapple. whip cream until soft peaks form; fold into fruit mixture. pour into 6- cup mold or individual dishes. chill to set. garnish with frosted fruit.

  • 3 break grapes into small cluster. dip into beaten egg whites. drain; dip in sugar to oat. place on rack to dry for 2 hours.
