Curried Corn On Toast

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 440 g whole kernel corn
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 -2 teaspoon fresh herb, chopped (optional)
  • 4 slices bread

Recipe

  • 1 drain corn, reserve liquid.
  • 2 melt butter in frypan.
  • 3 add curry powder and flour.
  • 4 cook while constantly stirring for about 20 seconds.
  • 5 pour in corn liquid and bring to boil.
  • 6 cook until sauce thickens.
  • 7 add corn and cook till corn is cooked.
  • 8 stir in parmesan and herbs.
  • 9 serve straight away on un-buttered toast.
