Chicken Chile Verde

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained
  • 1 lb boneless chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8-1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (to taste)
  • 3 cups beef stock or 3 cups bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a large pot.
  • 2 simmer about 30 minutes.
  • 3 it freezes well but remember that the longer you cook it the hotter it will be!
