Cranberry-walnut Scones

Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup maple sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon skim milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- 2 spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
- 3 in large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, put in butter.
- 4 stir in cranberries and walnuts.
- 5 make a well in center and stir in buttermilk.
- 6 dough should be sticky.
- 7 pat into 8" round.
- 8 cut each round into 8 triangles.
- 9 brush top with milk and sprinkle with maple sugar.
- 10 bake for 14 to 18 minutes.
