Brown Sugar Cranberry Sauce

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh cranberries or 1 quart frozen cranberries, picked through
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lb dark brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 bring cranberries and water to a boil.
  • 2 simmer, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  • 3 stir in the brown sugar until dissolved then remove from heat and cool.
