Cauliflower With Ham Gravy

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cauliflower (500-750 g)
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt, for
  • 1/2 liter water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 500 ml milk (3%)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 200 g smoked ham, diced
  • parsley

Recipe

  • 1 rinse the cauliflower.
  • 2 add water in a pot (should cover 2/3 of cauliflower).
  • 3 add salt.
  • 4 add cauliflower and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  • 5 gravy: whisk some of the flour in the milk in a pot.
  • 6 add the rest of flour and butter.
  • 7 cook for about 3-5 minutes.
  • 8 add ham and parsley.
  • 9 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 10 put cauliflower on a dish, pour the gravy over.
  • 11 eat and enjoy.
  • 12 sometimes i add cheese after i've added gravy and put it in oven for 5 minutes of broiling.
