Classic Rhubarb Crisp

Ingredients

- 3 cups rhubarb, cut up
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon mace
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup flour
Recipe
- 1 combine the rhubarb, one cup sugar, egg, 2 tablespoons flour and mace and spread into a deep pie plate.
- 2 combine the remaining ingredients to make a crumbly mixture.
- 3 cover the rhubarb with this mixture.
- 4 bake at 375 f for about a half hour, or until rhubarb is tender.
- 5 serve warm with cream.
