Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons baking cocoa (heaping)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups flour

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 combine all ingredients in the order listed.
• 3 spread batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
• 4 bake for 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
• 5 remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool for 2 hours.
• 6 once cool, spread cake with frosting of your preference.
• 7 slice into 2-inch pieces and serve.
