Chayote Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 chayotes
  • 2 tablespoons slivered red onions
  • finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • chopped fresh hot chili pepper

Recipe

  • 1 peel chayotes and cut in half lengthwise. scoop out seeds, then cut flesh into thin slices.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine chayotes, red onion and cilantro.
  • 3 season with lime juice, salt and chile peppers. sprinkle with olive oil and serve.
