Carrot Apple Smoothies

Total Time: 21 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 16 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup apple juice or 1 cup apple cider, chilled

Recipe

  • 1 in covered small saucepan, cook carrot in the boiling water about 15 minutes or until very tender; do not drain. cool slightly.
  • 2 transfer carrot mixture to blender. add apple juice. cover and blend until smooth. chill before serving.
