Cocoa & Cinnamon Macaroons

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
  • 3 whip egg whites to soft peaks.
  • 4 add sugar and beat to stiff peaks.
  • 5 combine almonds, cocoa, cinnamon, fold into egg whites.
  • 6 drop by the spoonful on to cookie sheets about 2" apart.
  • 7 bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 8 transfer to wire racks to cool.
