Corn With Tamales And Vidalia Onions

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 vidalia onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar pimientos
  • 2 (1 lb) cans creamed corn
  • 1 (15 ounce) can hot tamales
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 stew onion, pepper and pimentos in juice from tamales.
  • 2 add corn, tamales, salt and pepper to sauce mixture.
  • 3 bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees f. for 1 hour or until mixture thickens.
  • 4 just before serving, top with grated cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
