- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 combine buttermilk, baking soda, and baking powder stir until mixture foams.
- 2 add salt and beaten egg-mix well.
- 3 stir in enough flour to make a soft but firm dough.
- 4 drop by teaspoonfuls into simmering broth.
