Cream Cheese Filled Wontons

Ingredients
- 40 square wonton wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup apricot-pineapple preserves
- 4 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 4 tablespoons water
Recipe
- 1 combine cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- 2 place 1 tsp of cheese mixture in wonton wrapper and follow package instructions on how to form wonton.
- 3 spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- 4 place wontons on cookie sheet and spray tops with more cooking spray.
- 5 bake for 10 minutes at 400°f.
- 6 combine all ingredients for sauce mixing well.
- 7 boil for 5 minutes.
- 8 let cool slightly before serving.
- 9 note: if you do not want chunks in the sauce you can process it in a blender before cooking.
