Cocoa Fudge Cake Icing

Ingredients

• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 3 tablespoons cocoa
• 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 put first 5 ingredients in saucepan and boil on medium heat 10 minutes.
• 2 remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla.
• 3 mix thoroughly and spread over layer or sheet cake.
• 4 icing will be thin at first but will be soft and creamy when cool.
• 5 makes enough for tops and sides of 3 layer cake or sheet cake.
