Cranberry Jezebel Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries or 12 ounces frozen cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • mint sprig

Recipe

  • 1 combine water and sugars in a medium saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil 0ver medium heat.
  • 3 add cranberries and return to a boil.
  • 4 cook for 10 minutes, stirring ocasionally.
  • 5 cool to room temperature.
  • 6 stir horseradish and mustard into cranberry mixture, cover and chill.
  • 7 garnish with mint sprigs.
  • 8 serve over light cream cheese with crackers.
