Chicken Sandwiches For Two (for Leftover Chicken Breasts- Delish

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast, halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 teaspoons ground garlic
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (i use kraft original)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 whole grain buns (i use healthy wheat)

Recipe

  • 1 rub garlic into chicken breasts, if uncooked, cook stovetop until juices run clear. if already cooked, add light garlic and proceed to step 2.
  • 2 move hot chicken breasts to a plate, lay a slice of provolone over each piece.
  • 3 pop buns in toaster on a setting of your liking
  • 4 while buns toast, wilt spinach over low heat in same pan.
  • 5 when the buns are done, spread barbeque sauce and mustard on both.
  • 6 layer chicken, then spinach.
  • 7 top off and enjoy!
