Deliciously Healthy Chicken Nuggets

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 blood orange
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken breast into small bite size or nugget size pieces.
  • 2 arrange on plate and sprinkle with olive oil.
  • 3 cut blood orange and squeeze juice over chicken.
  • 4 sprinkle creole seasoning over chicken, turn chicken to mix juices and seasonings, let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • 5 pour wheat germ onto separate plate and transfer one piece of chicken at a time to evenly coat both sides.
  • 6 place prepared chicken on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 20 - 30 minutes.
  • 7 serve with favorite dipping sauce and fresh vegetables.
