Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Recipe
- 1 cut asparagus into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
- 2 boil water, soy sauce and sugar in a large saute pan over high heat.
- 3 add asparagus and reduce heat to low.
- 4 simmer until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes).
- 5 serve.
