Chinese-style Asparagus

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 cut asparagus into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
  • 2 boil water, soy sauce and sugar in a large saute pan over high heat.
  • 3 add asparagus and reduce heat to low.
  • 4 simmer until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes).
  • 5 serve.
