Chicken And Rice Dinner

Ingredients

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 1/3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- chopped fresh parsley
Recipe
- 1 lightly salt and pepper chicken.
- 2 coat chicken pieces with flour.
- 3 in a large skillet, brown chicken in oil on both sides.
- 4 in a bowl, combine the water, rice, milk, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper.
- 5 pour into a greased 13" x 9" baking dish.
- 6 top with chicken.
- 7 cover tightly with foil and bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until rice and chicken are tender.
- 8 garnish by sprinkling with chopped fresh parsley.
